Frequently asked questions.
Who are the retreats for?
Our retreats are designed for women who are feeling weary, stuck, or longing for a reset personally, spiritually, or emotionally. You don’t need prior experience with therapy or retreats; you just need a willingness to show up for yourself.
What type of therapy is offered?
Our retreats integrate therapeutic practices designed to support emotional healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. One of the main modalities we offer is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy.
EMDR Group Therapy: Provides a supportive, shared environment where participants can work on common challenges and build community. Group EMDR sessions are carefully facilitated to maintain safety and confidentiality, and all participants are guided through exercises and processing techniques appropriate for a group setting.
Do I need to be religious to attend?
While our retreats are faith-based and rooted in Christian practices and a focus on our relationship with Jesus, women from all backgrounds are welcome. Many participants find that the blend of spiritual and therapeutic tools creates a safe, healing space regardless of where they are in their faith journey.
What happens at a retreat?
Each retreat includes a blend of group experiences (such as guided therapy sessions, prayer, scripture reflection, and creative workshops), personal downtime (to rest, journal, or enjoy nature), and nourishing meals. Think of it as sacred space for both healing and joy!
What is included in the cost?
Retreat registration typically includes lodging, meals, therapeutic and spiritual sessions, and retreat materials. Travel is not included.
Are retreats confidential?
We strive to create a safe, sacred space where women can share openly and feel supported. While we hold to high standards of confidentiality, similar to therapy, please keep in mind that retreats are held in a group setting. This means we cannot guarantee that every participant will maintain complete confidentiality. We encourage everyone to respect one another’s privacy and honor what is shared in the circle.
Additionally, there may be opportunities to capture photos or videos during the retreat for marketing or promotional purposes. We will always ask for your permission before using any images or recordings, and you have the right to decline without any impact on your retreat experience. Your comfort, safety, and trust are our highest priorities.
Can I come alone?
Yes! Many women attend solo, and often find deep friendships and community through the experience. You’ll be warmly welcomed, whether you come alone or with a friend.
